Include a Portable Picnic Table In Your Camping Supplies

One of the best items you can buy for your family is a portable picnic table. I never knew how useful an item like this could be until I had one. There are so many ways that the portable picnic table can be used and it is so reasonably priced you may wonder why you didn't get one sooner.

I found that you can pick up a portable picnic table for as low as fifty bucks. For that price, I couldn't pass it up. I am so glad that I made the purchase. We use the portable picnic all year long and it has stood up to some harsh treatment.

A Portable Picnic Table Has Multiple Uses

We spend a lot of time on the road during the summer months. We take the portable picnic table with us on nearly every camping trip. Within a minute or two we would have a place to stop for a picnic lunch or a table to eat our dinner while we were camping.

Our family loves to have picnics and what's better about picnics is the ability to stop and eat anywhere, not just designated picnic spots. However, I'm not crazy about the idea of eating on the ground. I don't eat while sitting on my floor at home. There is no way I'm going to eat while sitting outside on the ground. The portable picnic table sets up in a snap making any park a comfortable place to eat.

Even if you find a beautiful park with picnic tables ready for your picnic, most of the times, these tables are worse than the ground as far as dirt goes. When I use the portable picnic table I am at ease in knowing that we are eating off of a sanitary surface.

Germ phobia aside, the portable picnic table also comes in handy while camping. We love being able to pitch our tent freely along side a river or creek that is not necessarily a designated camping spot. With our picnic table in tow, we never need to worry about where we are going to eat our dinner.

There are countless uses for the portable picnic table at home, too. I used it to display items I was selling at a yard sale. It's also great when I need extra seating for friends or kids during our summer barbeques. It is also the perfect place to play a game of cards.
